Who Am I

Hey! I'm Devesh Khatri, a Full Stack Web Developer based in India. I hold a Master's in Computer Applications (MCA) and have been building web experiences with the MERN stack for a while now.

Currently focused on building NxtClutch, a matchmaking app for gamers, solo — from the backend and mobile app to production deployment and monetization. Previously a Packaged Application Development Associate at Accenture, monitoring enterprise systems at scale, and a Web Developer at KalaKonnect, where I built full-stack features, integrated payment gateways, and shipped real-time communication tools.

I enjoy turning complex problems into clean, functional interfaces — and I'm always pushing to write better, more efficient code.

A compatibility score that means something

Rather than blend games, rank, and availability into one generic percentage, I split matching into two purpose-built modes. General browsing weighs shared games and availability overlap, so the ranking reflects real common ground. Viewing a specific game switches to a genuine rank/level-proximity score — with support for level-based games and multiple acceptable ranks per player — so the number you see actually reflects fit, not just a plausible-looking average.

Wiring subscriptions across three independent systems

Shipping real subscriptions meant getting Google Play Billing, RevenueCat, and the app itself to agree — the subscription product, its entitlement, the offering, and the app's own registered identity all have to line up exactly, across two separate dashboards and the app's own config. I designed and verified that full chain end to end, tracing each link independently to confirm real purchases correctly unlock Pro before shipping it to real users.
